In 1998 the Bentley Arnage was launched, replacing the legendary Bentley Turbo. Built by Bentley Motors in Crewe from 1998 to 2009, the Arnage and its Rolls-Royce counterpart the Silver Seraph were introduced in the Spring of 1998 and were the first entirely new designs for the two marques since 1980 when the Silver Spirit and Mulsanne models were introduced. The new Arnage was to be powered by a BMW V8 engine with Cosworth-engineered twin-turbo chargers and was designated the 'Arnage Green Label' and the Seraph was to employ a BMW V12 engine. Due to customer pressure regarding the engine, the far superior 'Arnage Red Label' was launched in October 1999 and the engine reverted back to the iconic Rolls-Royce derived 6.8-litre V8 power plant.
This excellent Bentley Arnage Red Label was supplied by H.R. Owen Ltd. London on the 5th October 2000 and came with factory fitted satellite navigation system. Being chauffeur driven nearly all the time, this Arnage has only covered 24,000 miles from new and comes with a good service history with ten service stamps from Broughtons Bentley, Cheltenham. Finished in Silver Pearl with beige leather and walnut veneered woodwork, this Bentley Arnage is supplied with a V5C registration document, an MoT test certificate which expires at the end of August 2019 and the service books containing the service history. The Arnage with the Rolls -Royce engine is a superb vehicle to drive with seemingly endless power and oozing opulent luxury.
