    • ModelM635 CSi
    • FE Cat descThe BMW M635CSi was the brainchild of BMW’s Motorsport department and arrived to the market in 1984. Karmann manufactured the early 6-Series BMWs from launch in 1976 before BMW took production in-house. The engine was a development of the M1 supercar's 3453cc, 24-valve, six-cylinder unit producing 286bhp, the increased power necessitating chassis improvements which included altered weight distribution, revised suspension, larger brakes and a limited-slip differential. There was also a close-ratio five-speed gearbox (or four-speed multi-mode auto) and a more luxurious interior, while outwardly this ultimate 6-Series model was readily distinguishable by virtue of its 'M Technic' body kit. Performance was impressive with the M635CSi being capable of reaching 0-62mph in around six seconds on its way to a top speed in excess of 155mph. This fabulous matching numbers M88 powered 'Shark' comes from a private BMW collection and is presented in probably the best colour combination of Cosmos Blue with classic blue houndstooth interior. The present owner is only the second recorded owner after GB UK. The car is accompanied by an extensive history file including the original owner’s handbook and service book in its original wallet. There are also many invoices, old MoT test certificates and a present MoT test certificate which expires in June 2020. After purchasing the BMW in 2016, the vendor had some of the car refurbished to bring it up to the fantastic standard that it is today (photographs of this work can be found within the history file) and, in 2018 the car received a mechanical and electrical refresh by BMW marque specialists Retro Engineering of Redditch. All the electrics are currently in working order including the air conditioning, sunroof, front and rear windows, seats and headrests. The car drives extremely well and still feels quick on the open road even by today’s standards.

    • ModelE36 M3 Evolution Convertible
    • FE Cat descThe BMW E36 series is the third generation of the BMW 3 Series range of entry-level luxury cars, and was produced from 1990 to 2000. Initially available as a coupé only, BMW introduced the M3 convertible and saloon versions in 1994. In 1995, the M3 coupé and saloon were upgraded to the 316bhp, 3.2 litre engines and known as Evolution versions. At the same time, the cars received clear indicator lenses, new wheels and a six-speed gearbox. The E36 M3 chassis was touted as one of the best handling cars of the 90's in independent tests and known for its well balanced handling. This lovely example is presented in metallic Estoril Blue and comes with a white, recently treated, leather interior, a dark blue electric hood and an accompanying hardtop. These models are very much in demand and this particular E36 is no exception to the rule of desirability with its six-speed manual gearbox mounted to the powerful 3.2 litre Evo engine. Sitting on M-style, 24" forged alloy wheels which replaced the standard M3's sunflower style, this Evolution displays just 75,827 miles and boasts a comprehensively stamped service booklet with no less than 16 stamps. The vanos unit has been checked and is quiet and the car has recently had a fresh MoT test certificate, inspection service and clutch. The E36 has long been the unappreciated BMW M3 as it followed the legendary E30, however in recent years collectors are starting to consider how good these examples are, a the significant step forward paving the way for the E46 which was an evolution of the E36 chassis. Prices are on the increase and finding one with low mileage is proving very difficult, it is reasonable to believe that prices will continue to increase.

    • ModelMini Cooper Convertible
    • FE Cat descThe Mini Hatch was an unsurprising hit when it was introduced in 2000. Produced by BMW and based on the styling of Sir Alec Issigonis’s 1959 classic, it could hardly fail. It went on to be a strong seller for BMW, a small car that’s cool, sporty and refined. A second generation model was launched in 2006 and a third was born in 2014. As well as the normal hard-top version, there’s also a convertible. After manually unlocking the roof, it retracts electronically in about 15 seconds, an action that can be performed at up to 20mph. Additionally you can have it fully converted or stopped half-way for a sunshine roof. With engines and trim, there are plenty of options, from the 211 horsepower John Cooper Works version to the 1.6 litre diesel which can stretch your mileage to 70mpg. All models have a strengthened body compared to the non-convertible, which partly accounts for its stiff, sporty, agile ride. First registered in January 2005 this lovely little convertible Cooper has led an easy life. Having covered only 54,000 miles in its 14 years, the car presents very well in black with black interior. It was ordered new with the 'Chilly Pack' which includes 17" alloy wheels, automatic headlights, rain-sensing windscreen wiper, clear indicator lenses, automatic air conditioning, LED headlights and fog lights and driving mode selector which allows the driver to select between ‘Sport’, ‘Mid’ and ‘Green’, There is also included a storage compartment pack, on board computer, half leather upholstery, passenger seat height adjustment, leather-trimmed multifunction steering wheel and interior mood lighting pack. The car was taken to Guernsey in 2011 where it resided until recently and has had one registered UK owner and two in Guernsey. It was noted that the clutch was slipping in 2018 at which point it was replaced. Since then the car has benefitted from a major service in March 2019. The car is now fully UK registered and comes supplied its V5C registration document, MoT test certificate valid until July 2020 and history file.
